COUNTDOWN TO INSANITY

So i got an email yesterday that my DVDs have been shipped and they're on their way to torture me
I'm actually nervous
About some DVDs
In addition to this I have my "final" weigh in for the Healthywage.com 10% body weight challenge
Weigh in on 8/8 and I'm soooo close.
This morning's weight was 180.8.... i need to be 183.6 or less on the scale at the gym
(so clothed in the pm)
If i make it I get $200 from the $100 I put in at the beginning in February
I also get to be rid of those 20.4 god awful pounds that i've lost in the last 6 months

So

Monday is the day, the first day of Insanity and I'm sure it's going to suck
A lot
But I'm really sick of being fat and if it means that the next 60 days are going to suck then i can
live with that.

On top of doing the workouts I'm 100% committed to overhauling my diet
Seriously, what's the point of doing one of the hardest workouts out there if I just eat crap
So for the last 3-4 days i've been eating better and surprisingly don't really miss the stuff I was eating
These are my typical foods before and after
I thought i was eating healthy before but now i realize that was a joke

Before
Baked cheetos
Lean Cuisines
Skinny caramel lattes
Greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom
Diet soda (mmmmmm mt. dew)
Weight watchers snickers ice cream bars
Frozen pizza

After (and for good)
Oatmeal (NOT prepackaged stuff, I measure it out, put it in a ziploc and add fresh fruit and stevia)
Grapes
Reduced Fat string cheese
Grilled chicken breasts
Lean turkey
No sugar added pomegranate juice bars
Whole grain flat bread
Eggs
All sorts of fresh veggies, not frozen, fresh although frozen aren't bad either


Just writing that out is really eye opening to see the difference.  Even though they were lower calorie options, those before items were LOADED  with sugar.  My SUGAR FREE non-fat caramel latte had 16 grams of sugar in it.  A snickers bar only has 28g.  So a sugar free latte has over half the sugar of a snickers... ridiculous.

So I haven't taken pictures (or really kept up with this blog) for quite a while
That's going to change.
Because i'm following such a strict diet/exercise plan I'm going to at least write SOMETHING every single day until the 60 days are up.  Hopefully just to keep me accountable even if nobody is reading this.
